Windows Inspection Tool Set is a program that analyzes your Windows system. This program doesn´t work on Windows Vista or Windows 7, though.
By using this Tool Set, you will be able to view important information about your system, through the program´s different sections. The System section will show you information about your operating system, the hardware, running processes, services and drivers. The Security section will provide information about local users and groups and logon sessions. File System will display information about your drives. Network will allow you to see the active connections and installed routers and interfaces. Printers will show you the installed printers. This program will also allow you to monitor predefined events, such as changes in the system resources, process started and finished, drivers loaded and unloaded, logon sessions, network shares, changes in the disk space and so on.
Windows Inspection Tool Set will also provide a link to lock your computer, forcing anyone who tries to use it to input your password. Through its interface you will be able to shutdown the system, close all WITS views, access the WITS console or set your preferences. |
